Carin León: Biography and Music
Born Heriberto León Rosas in Hermosillo, Sonora, Carin León grew up close to the Regional Mexican traditions that shape his music. His sound brings together banda and norteño with contemporary Latin influences, connecting established styles with a newer generation of listeners. Before his solo breakthrough, he spent years performing in bands and developing his songwriting and stagecraft.
León's 2021 collaboration “Que Vuelvas” with Grupo Firme helped expand his audience, while songs such as “Según Quién,” “No Es Que Me Guste” and “El Amor de Su Vida” have become notable entries in his catalog. His albums include Ahí Es (2020) and Colmillo de Leche (2023), the latter also lending its name to his tour.
